Hosted, not hired

Plenty of venues hand you the keys, a room and an invoice

Keep the guest list you chose, and put it in a room built for weddings, run by people who host them every week. With a short guest list, every one of those guests is someone you love.

  1. Experienced people run the night, from the first guest arriving to the last song.
  2. Staff come to the table — they introduce themselves and stay close enough to help.
  3. The kitchen cooks for your guests, not in advance. Food is plated to order.
  4. “No” is the last resort. The team is trained to look for a way to say yes.

Two places to say it

Twenty minutes from the city, or forty-five. Both host the ceremony and the reception.

Newlyweds outside a classical building

Vogue Ballroom

Burwood East

A marble foyer into a room of chandeliers, with charcoal, silver, black and white tones that give your styling a clean canvas. Ceremony in the same room as dinner, private parking on site.

Suits: a black-tie dinner, speeches under chandeliers and a short drive home for older relatives.

Vines of the Yarra Valley

Helen's Hill

A winery estate with 360-degree views across 150 acres of vineyards. Marry, take photos, share drinks and dance without leaving the estate; the evening finishes on the courtyard dance floor under fairy lights.

Suits: vows in the open air, portraits in the vines at golden hour and a long-table dinner.

A happy wedding couple sharing a moment at sunset

A phone call at 1 am

Kit wasn't the bride or the groom. Kit was a guest.

Kit Chan went to a wedding at Vogue Ballroom and spent the night dancing. At home, well after midnight, Kit realised something precious was missing.

Close to 1 am on a Saturday night, Kit rang the venue. The call woke Trish, who looks after bookings. Trish listened, made several calls, found the lost item and rang Kit back with the good news, along with a photo to prove it was safe.

At an intimate wedding, every guest is someone the couple cares about. The team treats them that way even after the lights go off.

How an intimate wedding comes together here

Ceremonies on site

Nobody drives between a church and a reception. The Yarra Valley ceremony location looks across the valley.

A seated dinner or a long table

A formal plated dinner at the ballroom, or a country-style long table at the winery.

All-inclusive packages
